Predictions, not observations

Tide predictions are astronomical. Real water levels depart from them because of barometric pressure, wind, storm surge and river discharge — routinely by 0.1–0.3 m, and by a metre or more in a storm.

Find My Tide is not suitable for navigation.

Do not use it to plan safe passage, clearance or anchorage. Use official tide tables and charts from your national hydrographic office.

United States

Tidal harmonic constants and station data are published by NOAA’s Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) and are in the public domain. Predictions shown here are computed by Find My Tide from those constants, and are not NOAA’s own published predictions.
